In his role as senior research engineer with the Texas Transportation Institute, Dr. Tim Lomax leads a team of researchers to produce the Urban Mobility Report—an examination of congestion trends in major U.S. cities. The study includes information on 101 cities throughout the U.S. and examines trends in urban area mobility to document the effect of transportation investments. Lomax is a frequent presenter on congestion and mobility, presenting to such groups as the Transportation Research Board, the Institute of Transportation Engineers and state and local governments in the U.S. and testifying before subcommittees of the Texas and U.S. House of Representatives and the U.S. Senate on mobility issues.
